Txture Administration
Administrative tasks in Txture are available only to users with the Admin
role.
When you are logged in as an Admin
user, the Admin report will become available in the main menu bar:
This area provides a wide range of tools for configuring and operating of your Txture instance. The admin area comes with its own sidebar.
From top to bottom, the menu items are:
System
- Changelog: Shows an audit trace of recent events on your Txture instance.
- Configuration: Displays your Txture Server system configuration.
Data Management
- Data Sources: View and manage the Data Sources used by Importers.
- Importer: View and manage the Importers which connect your Txture instance with external Data Sources.
- Consolidation: View and manage the Consolidation operations.
- Surveys: View and manage Surveys and track their progress.
Automation
- Task Scheduling: View and manage the Schedule for Importers, Consolidations and other periodic tasks.
- Propagation Rules: View and manage the Change Propagation Rules.
- Notification Rules: Configure notifications.
Access Control
- Users: View and manage Txture User Accounts.
- Roles: View and manage Roles attached to User Accounts.
- Permissions View, grant or revoke Permissions from Roles and User Accounts.
- Tenants View and manage Tenants in a multi-tenant setup.
- API Tokens View, create or revoke JWT Tokens to access the Txture REST API from external code.
Customization
- Conditional Styling: View and manage the global rules for automatic styling of elements.
- Icons: View and manage the icon set used in Reports.
- External Actions: View and manage links to external web URLs and match them to elements.
- Structure Editor: View and edit the Structure.
- Taxonomy: View, search and extend the Txture Taxonomy.
