Txture Modules

Txture offers three modules that are integrated into one single platform. The starting module is Txture Core, on which the Business Case Builder and the Transformation Cockpit are based.

Documentation of Generic Functionalities

All generic functionalities of the Txture platform, such as Dashboards, Structure, Repository and Reports, are explained in the Txture Core documentation. The documentation for Admin functionalities can be found under Administration.

Txture Core​

In a nutshell, Txture Core is a cloud-based software platform that can be used as a CMDB and for Application Portfolio Management. Txture Core offers capabilities for analyzing, visualizing, and optimizing IT infrastructures, particularly in large enterprises undergoing digital transformation or migrating to cloud-based systems.

Txture Core provides users with insights into their IT environments, including dependencies, costs, and risks, facilitating informed decision-making and strategic planning. The platform enables users to create customized visualizations, generate reports, and simulate scenarios to assess the impact of changes on their IT landscape.

Business Case Builder​

Txture's Business Case Builder allows the creation of data-driven business cases for cloud transformation projects. It uses the data integration capabilities of Txture Core and allows the creation of business cases for different scenarios, such as comparing different cloud approaches as well as cloud providers with each other. In this course, we will look at this module in detail.

Key use cases of the Business Case Builder:

  • Mapping of current IT estates to cloud equivalents.
  • Business case calculation and comparison across different cloud scenarios.
  • Cost and CO₂ optimization.

Transformation Cockpit​

Txture's Transformation Cockpit offers an application-centric approach to performing the cloud assessment and the generation of cloud target architectures based on a strong cloud knowledge base.

Additionally, Txture excels at collecting data from all required sources taking into account the business, application, and infrastructure landscape. This way, Txture fundamentally increases the speed of medium- to large-scale cloud transformations and reduces costs and transformation risks.
