Txture Core

Txture provides all genric features of Txture. Features and concepts described in this section are essential for using Txture, regardless of the use case Txture is used for.

Txture always shows a navigation menu on top of the application. The navigation menu contains the following application tabs:

  • Dashboards: The central starting point for the user.
  • Structure: This tab serves as a reference to inspect the underlying data structure of the instance.
  • Repository: The central list of all assets is the repository. A good starting point to find assets to further investigate.
  • Reports: All reports and report templates can be found in this tab.
  • Admin: Txture settings such as users, roles, importers, and the structure editor can be found here (only visible to members of the admin group).

The little "1" on the right side of the navigation bar indicates that new updates to the database are available (possibly created by importers or other users). Click on the button to update the current report with the new data. The user menu is always in the upper right corner and provides access to the documentation and logout.

User Interface Language​

A click on the user icon on the top-right allows to select a language for the user interface. Currently, English and German are supported. When a user logs in for the first time, the language of the browser is used a the default language. Txture recommends using the English-language user interface for best comprehensibility.
