An ESB is represented by an asset of the asset-type "Technical Component", which is part of Txture's default data model for the Cloud Transformation use case. Note that communication with applications is always modelled via interfaces. This is recommended in order to have proper cut-points between individual applications. Additionally it allows you to differentiate between multiple protocols used in communication with other system components.
