Target Architecture
Target Architecture is the third section in the Transformation Cockpit. Just like all other sections in the Transformation Cockpit, the Target Architecture has a global and an application mode. You can access the application mode by selecting an asset from the sidebar to the left.
Global Mode
The upper area of the global Target Architecture view provides access to the features Conflicts and Shared Components. Further below, the global mode displays a number of reports about your target architecture landscape:
- The costs per application grouped by cost ranges.
- The number of assets per application.
- Expected carbon footprint and energy consumption per asset type.
- Applications grouped by 6 R's migration strategy.
- Applications grouped by cloud provider in the target architecture.
- A forcast of runtime costs.
- A map showing the geographical regions the cloud services are hosted.
Application Mode
The upper area of the application mode displays a summary of the selected application, including migration status, migration strategy, and cloud provider (1). In addition, it shows the options to set Assessment Preferences or Target Architecture Preference specifically for the selected application (2), as well the option to solve conflicts (3).
In the area below you will find Txture's Cloud Proposals, the core functionality of the Target Architecture section (4). All information about Cloud Proposals can be found in the dedicated Cloud Proposal documentation.
