CloudScape

This feature is available starting from Txture 33.

Data Enhancers

Enhancers can augment the data provided by a Data Source by introducing additional columns.

Dynamic Columns

Dynamic columns can be used to create new columns whose value is defined by a simple Groovy script and are available for asset-, link- and user-importers.

Excel (XLSX) Templates

As an alternative to manual modeling or if pre-processing of data needs to happen outside of the Txture platform the Txture Excel data source can be used. It allows the collection of assets, links and property values in a spreadsheet based approach.

Filter Script

The importer allows to filter the data provided by the data source.

Google Cloud

Using this importer allows importing assets and links from Google Cloud Platform projects.

i-doit

i-doit is a CMDB conforming to ITIL best practices.

Importing JSON

The JSON importer allows for generic import of links and assets from JSON formatted data. It is particularly useful in conjunction with the HTTP data source for REST APIs, but can also import static data from files. The importer uses JSON path to navigate the structured data.

Jira Software

Jira Software can natively be queried from Txture in order to import issues as assets or augment existing assets in Txture with information from Jira.

Kubernetes

Kubernetes as a management tool for container orchestration gained a lot of traction recently. Txture provides direct access to a Kubernetes cluster and is capable of importing your assets directly. You need to provide the following informations:

ServiceNow

This documentation is based on the default configuration of a new ServiceNow instance with version Utah.

SQL

The SQL data source allows for flexible importing of data stored in a variety of SQL databases. The database URL has to be in the form of a JDBC connection string:

SQL

The SQL importer is capable of executing queries on SQL data sources and extracting information from the results. Due to the wide usage of SQL as a database backend, this data source is often a fallback if no vendor-specific importer exists for a given source of data e.g. for a non-supported CMDB or monitoring tool.

SSH / WinRM

Txture allows to import assets and properties directly from hosts using standard management protocols such as SSH or WinRM. This is particularly handy in combination with the SNMP data source and allows for powerful discovery abilities.

Stratozone

Stratozone is a landscape discovery tool that was recently acquired by Google Cloud.

VMware

This data source allows integration with VMware vSphere in order to import insights to Txture.

VMware vSphere

VMware vSphere is an omnipresent hypervisor used in many IT landscapes. The importer allows to quickly import compute resources managed with VMware vSphere - both physical hosts and virtual machines.
