Cloud As-is Usage Data

The AS-IS Usage Data consolidation offers a way to calculate monthly cost estimates for cloud resources that are already managed as assets in Txture.

This calculations are based on property values in technology and technology variant properties of asset types Technical Component, Database, Servers, etc. and other sizing data (if relevant, depending on the cloud service type).

Additional options in the consolidation allow to set

  • Payment preferences like binding term (e.g. 3 years) and payment options (e.g. upfront)
  • General Cloud Server Provider discounts or individual product discounts that may apply
  • Restriction to scope the assets to be enriched with estimated cost data (specified via a Filter-Query)
