Quadrant Chart

This report type allows to visualize assets as dots on a quadrant based on numeric properties.

Configuration

Follow these steps to create a new quadrant chart:

  1. Use the query bar to create custom queries and add data to the report.
  2. Use the Customize menu on the top-left to configure your report:
    • Define properties for the x- and y-axis of the quadrant. Only numerical properties are available for selection here.
    • Optional: Configure the splits for the x- and y-axis.
    • Optional: Choose a third numeric property that defines the bubble size. The application count is used by default, if you do not select a property yourself.
    • Optional: Configure colors and names for your four quadrants.
  3. Use the Save button on the right to save the configuration of your report.

Report Behaviors

This report type has some specific characteristics:

  • If multiple assets are within a similar area in the quadrant, they will be grouped into a single larger dot or a dot showing the number of assets it groups together (depending on your bubble size settings).
  • Hovering over dots on the quadrant shows the exact position of an asset on the quadrant.
  • Clicking on a dot on the quadrant opens the underlying asset or assets in the sidebar.

Styling

The quadrant chart does not support conditional styling.

Export

The quadrant chart can be exported as PDF, PNG or SVG. Also, it supports the manual adjustment to several target formats.
