Cluster Table

The cluster table combines characteristics of the Cluster Matrix and the Table Report. Similar to the table report, the assets and their properties and links are shown in a table.

As an extension to the table report, the result of a custom query can be clustered and sorted by criteria on the y-axis, similar as it can be done in the cluster matrix. In contrast to the table report, assets might be shown in multiple rows when they are member of multiple categories on the y-axis.

Data assets are displayed as a table where the y-axis can be arbitrarily selected by the user. In contrast to the cluster matrix, the cluster table can show individual properties of each asset on the x-axis:

Configuration

Follow these steps to create a new cluster table report:

  1. Use the query to create custom queries.
  2. Click on Vertical axis and use the drop-down menu to select the properties for the y-axis. Alternatively, you can select the relation to other asset types. Assets from the query will be categorized based on their property values or the relation to other asset types.
  3. Click on Show Columns to select the columns you want to show on the x-axis. You can select a number of properties or links to be shown in columns.
  4. Use the Save button on the right to save the configuration of your cluster table report.

Show Columns

Additional properties can be managed identically to the columns configuration in Table Report.

Configure Vertical Axis

The header is generated by choosing one or more properties or relations to other asset types. The assets resolved by your query are then clustered in the matching row. For more information see Axis configuration.

Styling

All configured conditional stylings are applied on the shown assets and there is full asset detail sidebar support as known from the table report. Note that conditional styling rules can be applied globally and per report.

Export

The cluster table can be exported as an Excel (.xlsx) file.
