Report Types

Txture offers a range of report types that cater to different needs and use cases. There is a dedicated documentation page for each report type:

  • Aggregation
The aggregation report is dedicated to visualizing collected sums/averages of numeric properties.

  • Aggregation Over Time
A line chart that visualizes property values of assets which are selected by a query over time.

  • Bar Chart
A bar chart that allows to group assets based on their property values.

  • Cluster Matrix
Cluster matrices show elements grouped by common criteria. It is useful to show how assets relate to two other assets, e.g. which application supports which business process and is used by which department.

  • Cluster Table
Cluster tables show properties of assets on the x-axis and group assets by common criteria on the y-axis.

  • Chord Diagram
The Chord diagram can be used to visualize direct and indirect communication between assets.

  • Dependency
The dependency report primarily shows assets and their links to other assets in a graphical fashion.  It can be used to visually model the architecture in a Visio-like style and is useful for understanding structure and for conducting analyses on the dependencies between assets.

  • Donut Chart
The donut chart allows grouping of assets based on their property values e.g. grouping virtual servers by operating system.

  • Gantt Chart
Gantt charts are ideal for visualizing time-based property values e.g. visualizing application life-cycles.

  • Quadrant Chart
Visualize assets as points on a quadrant based on numeric properties.

  • Scatter Plot
Visualize assets as points on a scatter plot based on numeric properties.

  • Table
A tabular representation that shows assets as rows and their properties and dependencies in individual cells that correspond to columns. Tables are great if you have a large amount of assets.

  • Tree
Shows elements as a tree. Should be used for inherently hierarchical data.

  • Waterfall
Shows the historical change of elements grouped by a common criterion.
